1. The holding of an Annual Show for the exhibition of livestock, farm produce, appliances and machinery, for the entertainment and education of the local populace; and the promotion of good will and understanding between town and country.
  2. The demonstration of methods connected with the furthering of the interest of agriculture and allied industries.
  3. Support for local community activities.


Members & Patrons will receive a badge which will give access to the Members Marquee, with its own bar and facilities for afternoon tea. Situated adjacent to the Main Ring with a seating area and the Grandstand, which is also reserved exclusively for members. 

This makes an ideal area for meeting friends whilst watching the attractions. Patrons have the benefit of using the exclusive on site car park, whilst members will receive vehicle passes to allow access to the forward parking area. The Show Post, a newsletter exclusively for members and exhibitors is published twice a year to keep members in touch with developments

JUNIOR MEMBERS badges for the children of members aged between 5 and 16 years, are £6.00

SPONSORSHIP will help the Society provide prize money and in return your name or company details will be printed in the Show Catalogue and announced by the Commentators as the classes are being judged. Sponsors will receive further benefits, details from the Show Secretary.

THE SHOW – work on staging the Show is carried out voluntarily by Members of the Society and if you would like to be involved in this as an active volunteer please let us know.
