Trade Stands

Once again it is time to start the process of booking for the coming season. You will find full details of the Trade Stands on the following pages together with an application booking form.

Open Trade Sites - almost any size of open site, on grass from 3 metres frontage upward, most sites 7.5 metres deep, but deeper stands are available.

The Wessex Arcade & Action Crafts - This shopping and craft area will be housed within one large marquee, standard unit 3 metres square on grass. No partitions between stands.

Food Containers - In an effort to reduce that vast amount of rubbish that accumulates on Showday we are asking all purveyors of food to use recyclable containers that are biodegradable and not to use any polystyrene food trays.

Tethered Helium Balloons – The use of tethered advertising balloons is NOT permitted on this Showground

Caravans – Due to increased demand for trade space and changes in the H & S and Fire regulations it is no longer possible to provide sites for caravans on the Showground, unless the living accommodation is part of the trade stand. Space for a limited number of caravans and tents will be allocated within the main car park field where there will be a water supply and toilets. We recommend use of the Blackmore Vale Caravan & Camping Site which is just 2 miles from the Showground – phone 01747 851523 or 852573
