Trade Stands

Once again it is time to start the process of booking for the coming season. You will find full details of the Trade Stands on the following pages together will an application booking form.

The Wessex Arcade – was very successfully housed in a single 80 foot wide marquee and the introduction of a choice of stand depths seems to have been well accepted. For 2008 we intent to incorporate the Action Crafts into a much enlarged single marquee with the Wessex Arcade. In 2007 we were forced to move this big marquee much closer to the ring than had been planned, a move which unexpectedly created some parking for exhibitors. The changes in the layout in this area means that there will not be any parking spaces adjacent to these marquees, all vehicles will have to be taken to the nearest car park.

Food Containers - In an effort to reduce that vast amount of rubbish that accumulates on Showday we are asking all purveyors of food to use recyclable containers that are biodegradable and not to use any polystyrene food trays.

Tethered Helium Balloons – The use of tethered advertising balloons is NOT permitted on this Showground

Caravans – Due to increased demand for trade space and changes in the H & S and Fire regulations it is no longer possible to provide sites for caravans on the Showground, unless the living accommodation is part of the trade stand. Space for a limited number of caravans and tents will be allocated within the main car park field where there will be a water supply and toilets.
