The grass will be topped off prior to the Show but may require further mowing to provide the best effect.

Wessex Arcade

For 2012 the marquee will be 40feet wide with a single row of stands all backing onto the tent wall, it will be turned through 90 degrees with the main entrance at the narrow end to encourage visitors to circulate. This marquee is a mixture of Gift, Craft and Information sites, with a limited number of Charity stalls. One 6’ x 2’3” table is provided on each site, additional tables may be ordered. Due to the reduced number of stands the organisers reserve to right to select exhibitors you give visitors the greatest choice. Exhibitors are therefore recommended to book early.

Action Craft

It was always a requirement that exhibitors in the Action Craft Marquee where able to demonstrate their skills, Following a survey in 2011 it was decided that as so few exhibitors were actively demonstrating the organisers would no longer subsidise this section. Craft exhibitors are welcome to take space as a Wessex Arcade exhibitor.

Food Hall & Cookery Theatre

The Food Hall will be located in a large marquee incorporating the Cookery Theatre, for food producers and retailers to offer local, regional and exotic specialist food and drink. It is hoped that exhibitors will be able to offer visitors samples of their products and that a wide range of wholesome produce will be available. An electrical supply is available, the charge for this is detailed within Specifications, please indicate what your power requirement is and the type of plug that you require. Mains water supply and hand wash facilities will be available at one end of this tent. Information for all types of stand

Electricity is available but must be ordered by you direct from the contractors – LX Trix Ltd, phone 01749 823162, Email info@lxtrix.co.uk. – It is essential that you indicate ‘YES’ on the application form if you are booking a power supply to enable us to locate your stand close to the power supply.

Showground is easily accessed from the B.3081. It is, immediately prior to Showday, open from Saturday 11th till Sunday 19th. between 9am to 9pm (9am till 6pm on Sat & Sun) to allow stands to be built up. All sites are on the grass, there are some stoned roadways, but access may be restricted in wet weather. On Showday a limited number of vehicles are permitted on site between 6.00am. 8.15am. and unless forming part of the stand, all vehicles must be removed to the Car Park by 8.30am.

Catalogue entry, the entry in the show catalogue & programme will consist of i) the Company name; ii) website details; iii) phone number. If an exhibitor does not have a web site we can either insert an email address or telephone number.
