The Gillingham & Shaftesbury Agricultural Show is made up of a number of competitive areas, some run by the Society and others organized by specialist societies and organizations:

Horticultural and Homecraft Show

Competitive classes for Vegetables, Fruit, Floral Decoration, Homecrafts, Preserves, Wines & Cordials, Handicrafts, Photography, and Children’s Classes

Art Show

Twelve competitive classes for amateur artists
With many of the exhibits being offered for sale after judging.
